days of the dead (free writing)

A boy named Ethan was waking home from a movie when a shady stranger parked and said "want a ride?" "no thanks" said ethan "are you sure?" said the stranger "Get away from me!" Ethan shouted. The stranger blew a fuse and lashed out at Ethan with a bat, Ethan ran to the closest police station and had the stranger arrested but this was just the start of a nightmare.When ethan got home he sat on his bed listening to radio when his paranoid roommate adam got him to see something. "what is it i'm seeing?" asked ethan "zombies!?" adam said, ethan sniggered "news workers always try scare people with that junk". adam was petrified, "you look terrified" said ethan "lets get you to bed".

The bomb

There once was a spy called spy and spy's job was to defuse bombs but never has he defused a red blue green wired bomb (a.k.a c4 or something) he was lucky because he was colourblind to red blue and green!

The spy was reading newspapers while sipping tea when suddenly he got a call on his spy phone from the headquarters and... Oh no it's a wire bomb! He had to do do it because it was atomic (or a nuke)!

When he arrived it was guarded by soldiers that were for some reason wearing party hats?!

Chooknology Project

on term 3 we are doing a chooknology project and i'm doing the path bit. So my buddys are ralph and taylor foster. we are going to have these square pavers and shredded tyres. when the concrete is setting we put koru designs in to decorate and coloured powder to make it colourfull. the shredded tyres will go in gaps of the squares, sort of like citchen tiles exept the black tiles are shredded tyres and the white tiles have koru designs in it. we have a cardboard box for a coop and a peice of paper glued to the back that has chickens drawn on it.

Arion Farms

at the near end of term 3 me and room 8 went to arion farms. first we waited for the roll to be called. then we went to see ducks and chickens.we learned about the ears and that the colour of the eggs depend on the colour of their ears. next we went to see the sheep and goats. the owners of arion farms had a new lamb that the class got to hold. the goats were cool too. after that we saw the rabbits and guinea pigs. i got to hold a baby rabbit, pat a hair and hold a tiny guinea pig. next we saw the rats and mice. i didn't like mice so i didn't want to hold one (so did my mum but the difference was i wasn't petrified about the tails...) finally we went to see the pigs and piglets, it was crawling with hay (that i'm allergic to) so i had this heartburn feeling and i was running short of breath but i still could breathe and i wasn't in life's danger so i didn't panic. lastly we hopped onto the bus to go back to school.

Pirate Pug (fictional)

It was a great day at the park...until a colossal pug started chasing me! i shouted ''help its cute but angry'' then a mad scientist came and used his shrink ray. So the pug became mine.A few hours later me and my pug built a boat.My pug helped by stocking food (human food and dog food). I did the rest. It looked a little dull in colour so i painted it. but it Still it wasn't right. Aha! its missing armor. so we went to buy the most light metal we could find. Lead would do (if that's light i think it is light enough to float if it isn't then say something else) finally it was finished. Ready to set sail. We tried to push it in the water but it was too heavy to push. We had to use a trailor when we got it into the water we set sail. But we where still missing something! A pirate hat. So me and my pug went to buy fabric. We then cut it into a hat shape. we where in the sea already. Oh no we forgot eye patches! Luckily we had spare fabric at the bow. That's when i decided to name him "pirate pug" we happily sailed "wow i never knew a pirate pug looked so good. Uh oh a shark! It tries to bite but its teeth shatters as it tries. The shatter made everything pitch black. I find myself in bed "it was just a dream" i frowned to myself. "wait" i said "why is a pug with an eyepatch and a pirate hat sleeping with me!?" it wasn't a dream at all!

Gymnastics

Every once and a while me  rm 8 rm 12 and rm 13 go to a gymnastics sesion. We do ford rolls and backrolls,Elephant rolls and hedgehog rolls,Pensil rolls and dish rolls. So much rolls, But there are not just rolls.There's a pike a straddle a strech a tuck and a bridge. One day in gymnastics we partnered with a buddy to make a series of positions and rolls. I partnered with Oliver and wow i was inpressed with how good we did! We did a ford roll a balance with our weight then a back roll then a hedgehog roll then a strech a bridge then a tuck! it was loads of fun!

Chicken Tractor

On Thursday 23 July me and my class went to see the chicken tractor in the food forest. The chicken tractor was a little cage where we put 2 to 3 chickens in each day to prepare for planting seeds, they don't think they are helping but they are when they are normally just digging for worms to eat.
